Hi, my name is Lisl & I have been making sea glass jewelry for a living since 1987. I started making jewelry with these sea changed gems while living on the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. I found my first piece of sea glass on a beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico and have been making sea glass jewelry ever since. Although a latecomer to the web my company is the oldest full time sea glass jewelry business in the world. Prior to having a website I sold my sea glass jewlery in the Caribbean by way of the coconut telegraph, from a table on the beach and from a gallery space.
I am just as much of a sea glass collector as I am a sea glass jewelry artist and have spent much of my life wandering the worlds beaches in search of sea worn glass and other treasures. Most of the sea glass used in my jewelry was collected by my husband and me in Puerto Rico and other locations. My mom is Puerto Rican and while collecting sea glass on the island I often have a sense that my ancestors are reaching through the waves to hand me frosty vitreous bits of Puerto Rico's legacy.

Sea glass or beach glass is our lost broken glass that has found its way to the sea where it is transformed into frosted gem like treasures by the natural tumbling action of the tides. I love the oneness of "seaglass" after all those years in the ocean it has become something beyond man made glass. It is as if the glass has blended with the sea and the two are now inseparable.
