Sea glass or beach glass is our forgotten broken glass that finds its way into the ocean and is then returned to us as frosted gem like treasures. Often poetically referred to as "Mermaids Tears" sea glass washes up on beaches all over the world. In writing you will sometimes see seaglass, or beachglass. I love the oneness of "seaglass" after all those years in the ocean it has become something beyond man made glass. It is as if the glass has blended with the sea and the two are now inseparable.
