Amber sea glass worn smooth only by the waters of the Caribbean hangs beneath sapphire blue glass beads. We found this sea glass on the beaches of Rincon, Puerto Rico. The beads are from Ghana and are made with recycled glass. They are made with glass bottles and other discarded glass items that are pulverized then placed into molds and then fired in a kiln. The kiln is made out of termite mound clay and is fueled with crushed palm kernels. These beads have a soulful organic beauty. Each earring actually has two pyramid shaped beads that fit together to create a really cool shape. I made these earrings with Argentium silver which is purer than traditional sterling silver. It is brighter and whiter than platinum, white gold and sterling silver. This beautiful silver is highly tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic. These earrings hang from my handmade ear wires which give sea glass earrings a high end artisan look and feel. The sea glass is approximately 3/4" L. The recycled glass beads are approximately 7mm. There are two beads on each earring so the total bead length on each earring is 14mm. The earrings are approximately 1&7/8" L from the bottom of the ear wires. All Argentium silver. Authentic sea glass.
