Twelve pieces of cornflower blue sea glass, two pieces of cobalt blue sea glass, twelve hand beaded triangular beads and an abundance of glass seed beads harmonize beautifully on this Memory Wire bracelet. The sea glass was worn smooth only by the warm tropical surf of the Caribbean. I lived in Rincon, Puerto Rico for fifteen years and collected these sea glass treasures on Rincon's beautiful beaches. I hand beaded the beaded beads with a range of blue and aquamarine 1.8mm glass seed beads. I beaded them with an ultra strong beading cord using techniques that create a strong inner structure. Memory Wire is very durable coiled stainless steel. It will keep it's shape for decades. It is an ideal choice for designs that incorporate threaded bead elements because it is maintenance free. The sea glass is ranges in size from 9mm L to 17mm L and from 2mm W to 4mm W. The beaded beads range from 15mm" L x 3mm" W to 18mm L x 3mm W. Fits a small wrist

About The Sea Glass
Rare Sea Glass
Cobalt blue sea glass is an intense saturated blue. The color is dense, vibrant and jewel like. The best known sources for cobalt blue sea glass are vintage to antique Milk Of Magnesia bottles, Vick's Vapor Rub jars, Bromo Seltzer bottles and Noxzema jars. There are many other sources for cobalt blue sea glass which include a vast array of old depression glass, decorative glass and medicinal bottles.
Cornflower blue sea glass is coveted by sea glass collectors and is even rarer than cobalt blue sea glass! Possible sources are old Phillips bottles that pre-date the iconic cobalt blue Phillips bottles.
About The Beads
The small glass seed beads are very high quality Delica seed beads from Japan, they are undyed and will never fade or lose their colors.
