A large piece of multicolored sea glass with deep blues, luminous blues and wisps of emerald greens and ambers hangs from a spiraling bale. This dreamy oceanic dreamscape was found on a beach in Seaham, England near the site of a Victorian era glassworks that discarded scraps of glass into the North Sea. I made the spiraling bale by hand with Argentium silver wire. Argentium silver is superior to and purer than traditional sterling silver. The spirals celebrate the beauty and the power of the sea as they quietly hover above the sea glass. This pendant style is called Ocean Galaxy and allows for the color striations to be viewed from all angles. The side views of multicolored sea glass such as this are too beautiful to cover up. This sea glass has a few glassy areas and that is reflected in the price. However, many sea glass collectors would still consider this to be a primo piece of sea glass. The sea glass is 1&3/8" L x 1" W. The entire pendant length is 1&7/8". Authentic sea glass.
