Cobalt blue sea glass that has danced in the waters of the Caribbean sways beneath beautiful luminous blue frosted recycled glass beads. We found the sea glass while wandering the beaches of Rincon, Puerto Rico and it was worn smooth only by Caribbean surf. The recycled glass beads are from Ghana and look like luminous watery blue planets as they hover above these enchanting cobalt blue sea glass treasures. They are made with glass bottles and other discarded glass items that are worked into a powder which is then placed into molds. The beads are fired in a kiln which is made out of termite mound clay that is fueled with crushed palm kernels. These beads have a soulful organic beauty. I made these earrings with Argentium silver. Argentium silver is superior to traditional silver. It is purer, brighter and whiter than traditional sterling silver. This beautiful silver tarnishes at a slower rate than traditional sterling silver and is hypoallergenic. These earrings hang from my handmade ear wires which give sea glass earrings a high end artisan look and feel. The sea glass is just approximately 5/8" L. The recycled glass beads are approximately 12mm. The earrings are approximately 1&3/4" L. from the bottom of the ear wires. All Argentium silver. Authentic sea glass.
