Champagne In The Meadow
Greenish yellow sea glass sways beneath green garnets and rutilated quartz. We found the sea glass on a beach in Seaham, England near the site of a Victorian era glassworks that discarded scraps of glass into the North Sea. The green garnets are golden greens and yellow greens and some have beautiful mossy green inclusions. The rutilated quartz has beautiful shimmering gold threads of rutilation. I made these earrings, including the ear wires, with Argentium silver wire. Argentium silver is superior to traditional silver. It is purer, brighter and whiter than traditional sterling silver and it is hypoallergenic. These handmade ear wires have a classical elegance and give sea glass earrings a high end artisan look and feel. The sea glass is approximatelyr 1/2" L. The earrings are approximately 1&5/8" L from the bottom of the ear wires. The green garnet gemstones are 2mm x 6mm to 4mm x 6mm and the rutilated quartz gemstones are 5mm. The gemstones are natural and undyed.. Authentic sea glass.
