Amber sea glass from the Caribbean sways beneath cerulean blue frosted recycled glass beads. These long earrings move beautifully while worn and were made for soulful, fun loving free spirits. We found this sea glass on the beaches of Rincon, Puerto Rico and it was worn smooth only by warm island surf. These warm and comforting amber sea glass treasures are energized by the recycled glass beads which are as beautiful as the Caribbean Sea. The recycled glass beads are from Ghana. They are made with glass bottles and other discarded glass items that are worked into a powder which is then placed into molds. The beads are fired in a kiln which is made out of termite mound clay that is fueled with crushed palm kernels. These beads have a soulful organic beauty. I made these earrings with Argentium silver which is purer than traditional sterling silver. It is brighter and whiter than platinum, white gold and sterling silver. This beautiful silver is highly tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic. These earrings hang from my handmade ear wires which give sea glass earrings a high end artisan look and feel. The sea glass is approximately 7/8" L. The recycled glass beads are approximately 12mm. The earrings are approximately 2" L from the bottom of the ear wires. All Argentium silver. Authentic sea glass.
