Dark Purple Treasure
A sea pebble like piece of deep dark purple sea glass ( 3/4" L x 5/8" W ) hangs from a wire wrapped Argentium silver bale. This sea glass treasure was found on a beach in Seaham, England near the site of a Victorian era glassworks that discarded scraps of glass into the North Sea. I made the bale by hand with Argentium silver which is superior to and purer than traditional sterling silver. This pendant style is called Washed Ashore and the silver looks to have been beautifully tangled while being tossed around in the sea. The bale allows for the sea glass to be viewed from all angles. Authentic sea glass.
