Beneath The Sea
A blue oceanic cosmos with an air bubble that shimmers like a fish swimming near the surface of the sea hangs from a spiraling bale. This multicolored sea glass treasure was found on a beach in Seaham, England near the site of a Victorian era glassworks that discarded scraps of glass into the North Sea. I made the bale by hand with Argentium silver wire. Argentium silver is superior too and purer than traditional sterling silver. The spirals celebrate the beauty and the power of the sea as they quietly hover above the sea glass. This pendant style is called Ocean Galaxy and allows for the color striations to be viewed from all angles. The side views of multicolored sea glass such as this are too beautiful to cover up. The sea glass is 3/4" L x 5/8" W. The entire pendant length is 1&1/4" or 32mm in length. Authentic sea glass.
