Small pieces of bright rare red sea glass ( 1/2" L x 3/8" W ) have been secured onto handmade Argentium silver ear wires. Red sea glass is a rare and highly coveted sea glass color. Many consider finding just one piece to be a once in a lifetime find. We found this sea glass on a beach in Seaham, England near the site of a Victorian era glassworks that discarded scraps of glass into the North Sea. One piece has a ridged texture and is two toned red-orange and red. I hand formed and forged the ear wires by hand with Argentium silver wire. Argentium silver is purer than and superior to traditional sterling silver. These beautifully handmade ear wires have an ancient and classical beauty. These earrings are soulful and are very well made.

About The Sea Glass
Ultra Rare Sea Glass
This sea glass was found on a beach in Seaham, England near the site of the Londonderry Bottleworks which was on a cliff overlooking the North Sea. It had seven bottlehouses and produced various types of hand crafted bottles, decorative glass and household glass. Glass items were sent weekly by boat to a warehouse in London and from there were shipped to various locations around the world.
