Wow! It Really Is About The Journey Afterall

I love being in my studio. I find it to be a sanctuary and enjoy being surrounded by things that I love. Lately while working, making necklaces and bracelets especially, I have found the journey to be of the highest pleasure. The studio is a place of surprise and adventure where I set a course which usually changes or vanishes once out of port. Each component evolves as I bend and spiral wire and hints and points to the next one. I often experience a let down once a piece is finished as that means that another journey has come to an end. I find a real creative potency in taking my time with every piece and indulge in the thrill of the surprises that I discover along the way.
