About The Sea Glass
The white sea glass in this pendant was collected by us on a beach in Puerto Rico. What sea glass collectors call white sea glass refers to glass that was once clear and colorless. After years in the ocean clear glass takes on a white frosty appearance. Some possible sources for this sea glass are everyday household bottles, jars, perfume bottles, Victorian era window panes and rum bottles from various Puerto Rican rums such as Don Q, Palo Viejo or Ron Barrilito.
Star Power Bale
The Star Power bale was made here in our studio with sterling silver wire which was shaped, spiraled and coiled by hand.
Spirals
The spiral is an ancient design and has been used acrosss cultures and continents to symbolize the eternal and the cosmos. Spirals are found in nature in seashells, galaxies, the tides, winds and even plants. this form is truly ageless.
