It is made up of layers of gray glass and blue-violet and yellow-orange glass. Blue-violet and yellow-orange are found across from each other on the color wheel and energize one another. The layers of glass are made up of contradicting linear and circular color striations. This piece of sea glass dates back to the Victorian era and was found on a beach in England near the site of a now vanished glass factory that discarded scraps of glass into the North Sea.
