About The Sea Glass

The pebble like pieces of amber sea glass in this necklace was collected on a beach in England near the site of a now vanished Victorian era glass factory which discarded scraps of glass into the North Sea.

Details

The spiraling charms on this necklace were handmade in our studio. It is adorned with two 6mm and four 10mm Swarovski crystal beads.

The chain, clasp and spirals in this necklace were handmade here in our studio with sterling silver wire using ancient solderless wire working techniques. The chain is very durable and is made with thick gauge sterling silver wire. This type of wire working is a jewelry artfrom unto itself and results in jewelry that has an ancient and rustic look and feel.
