About The Sea Glass

We collected the amber sea glass in this necklace from the beaches of Puerto Rico. It was was worn smooth by some of the Caribbeans most powerful surf. Possible sources for this sea glass include old Clorox bottles, beer bottles including Puerto Rican brands like Tigre, India and Medalla. Beck's beer and Heineken bottles are also possible sources as these beers were once bottled in amber glass on the island. Puerto Rican malted sodas such as Malta India and Goya could be sources as well.

Details

This necklace was handmade here in our studio with thick gauge sterling silver wire. The beads are 6mm crystal copper ( two toned crystal and amber) Swarovski crystal beads. The clasp is a sterling silver dolphin.
