About The Sea Glass

The sea glass in this bracelet was collected on a beach in England near the site of a now vanished Victorian era glass factory that discarded scraps of glass ito the North Sea.

Handmade Chain

The chain in this bracelet was made by hand here in our studio. Using simple tools and techniques that have changed little since ancient times each link is formed one at a time and pieced together by hand. The chain is made with thick gauge sterling silver wire. This wire working method is known as cold work and is solderless. Chains made this way are often stronger than commercially made soldered chains. The sea glass pieces are securely attached to the chain with spiraled and coiled wire. The clasp is a sterling silver dolphin. All sterling silver.

Spirals

The spiral is one of the oldest designs created by mankind and has been used since megalithic times across cultures and continents in various types of artwork to symbolize the eternal. Spirals appear in nature in seashells, the oceans tides, winds, plants and galaxies. This beautiful form is truly ageless.

Bracelet Length
